Description:
Students continue the study of law and society that they began in CRJS 3086 by looking at a variety of substantive issues in law. Students will build on their knowledge of definitions, descriptions and theories of the law and explore the origins, impact and interaction between formal and informal social control that organize individual and collective behaviour for particular substantive issues. This course may be credited towards Sociology and Social Welfare & Social Development.
