Description:
Students examine films produced within Canada including English-Canadian films, Le cinema Quebecois, representations by and of indigenous peoples, as well as other diverse voices. Consideration is given to the role of the National Film Board in the production and dissemination of Canadian film and video works. Topics vary according to the instructor’s area of specialization. This course may be credited towards the Major in Fine Arts (Art History and Visual Studies stream).
