Description:
Students examine the roots and history of hospice and palliative care in the early and medieval era Christian communities. Students study the life and influence of the founder of the contemporary hospice movement and the trajectories of the movement in North America. Students examine the development of hospice and palliative care in the 21st century and changing attitudes toward end-of-life care.
