Three hours of lecture per week for one term.

Description:

Models have become a fundamental tool in studying the environment, allowing interdisciplinary consideration of biophysical, social, and economic processes. Students learn how systems thinking and dynamic environmental modelling can help build our understanding of complex environmental problems and find solutions. Students learn to conceptualize and construct a model of an environmental system and how it changes over time using web-based modelling tools.
