Hours:

The contact time averages two hours of lectures and one hour of lab per week. (2-hour lecture every week and a 2-hour lab every second week.)

Description:

Students develop their knowledge of the environment to study causes, identify connections, and evaluate proposed solutions associated with specific environmental problems. Students consider key contemporary problems such as waste disposal, fossil fuel use, energy efficiency and the use of renewable energy sources, food production, pesticide use, water pollution, air pollution and climate change from a scientific perspective.
