Description:

Students learn foundational knowledge and basic theories of the biological sciences that form the basis of environmental science. Through examining key concepts such as evolution, biodiversity, and ecosystem ecology from a scientific perspective, students learn about natural and altered ecosystems, consider issues stemming from human population growth and impact, and comprehend a host of problems associated with extinctions and invasive species.
