Prerequisites:

NSGD 4706 and NSGD 4137 with a minimum grade of 60% or SAT

Antirequisites:

NSGD 4027, NURS 4024

Restrictions:

This course is restricted to students enrolled in the RPN to BScN Blended Learning Program.

Hours:

324 hours in a clinical setting following the schedule of their preceptor-mentor.

Description:

Students assume incremental responsibility for client care. The focus is on the integration of theory and practice in a variety of health care settings under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Students develop clinical judgement, independent evidence-informed decision-making skills, professional accountability, responsibility, and identity. Students complete 324 hours of practice experience.
