Description:

In this course, students will explore the history of art and visual representations from the fourteenth century onwards. Coursework will focus on the relationship between cultural objects and historical context and students will develop a greater understanding of the role of art in society and the field of Art History and Visual Studies. Additionally, students will develop writing skills in relation to art and visual methodologies.
