All 2000 and 3000 level NSGD courses with a minimum grade of 60% or SAT;

Antirequisites:

NSGD 3007; NURS 3516, NURS 3007

This course is restricted to students enrolled in the RPN to BScN Blended Learning Program.

Description:

Students continue to develop knowledge and skills relating to public and community health nursing. The course introduces the core competencies, key theoretical models and concepts that guide population and community health nursing. Students examine current population health issues in Canada and the role of nursing in population health and health system management.
