Description:

Students examine contemporary issues in religion and law in the Canadian context. Students analyze the history of the relationship between religion and law, including historic and recent court cases dealing with religion. Possible topics include religious freedom, religious accommodation, relationships between religious and secular legal systems, and legal status of Indigenous religious practices.
