Description:

This course is designed to examine the role that youth play in various methods of social justice movements and efforts. The historical involvement of young people in social movements is explored and linked to contemporary efforts to mount social justice. Topics include but are not limited to education citizenship, media, social media, formal and informal participation and agency in social change. Experiential learning is a component of this course.  This course may be credited towards Social Welfare and Social Development.
