Description:

Students explore key mathematical concepts through an Anishinaabek lens. Through land-based learning, students are introduced to Anishinaabek concepts of relationality within the context of mathematics, and other key Anishinaabek principles. Anishinaabek knowledge from a practical application stance enables the students to connect theory to their experiential learning. This land-based course is offered in the traditional territory of Nipissing First Nation. This course may be credited towards Indigenous Studies.
