Description:
Students critically examine strategies used to mobilize Indigenous people and resources, to engage in resistance of the colonial state and intellectual imperialism. Concepts such as decolonizing and cultural safety are foundational to examine the intersections of colonial systems and Indigenous sovereignty. Equally pivotal are the roles of women and youth as leaders in these actions.
