The Additional Qualification course, Writing, Part 2, focuses on the relevant research evidence underpinning effective writing instruction. Critical to writing instruction is the ability of teachers to ensure positive, interactive learning experiences for all students. Teachers are or become skilled at combining their knowledge of student development and learning with their understanding of effective writing instruction. This course will be of interest to teachers who wish to acquire fundamental knowledge and skills in effective writing instruction. Candidates will have an opportunity to reflect, to apply their learning and are encouraged to share their experiences
