Description:
An examination of the ""science of people's interactions with plants;"" the role of human societies in the discovery, development and dispersal of food, drug and economic plants; a focus on First Nations' uses of plants in addition to plant-human interactions in other cultures; a multidisciplinary approach involving botany, biochemistry, pharmacology, anthropology, sociology, ethnology and spirituality.
