Prerequisites:

PHED 1206 and PHED 1207; or PHED 2216; 54 credits completed.

Antirequisites:

PHED 4016

Restrictions:

Restricted to students enrolled in the Bachelor of Physical and Health Education program.

Hours:

Two hours of lecture and two hours of laboratory work per week for one term.

Description:

This practical course challenges students to apply anatomical principles in the prevention and treatment of acute injuries related to physical activity and sport. Emergency action plans, athletic taping, and safety protocols will be addressed. First Aid Certification will be included.
