PHED 3056 (formerly PHED 4016) and 54 credits completed.

PHED 4096 Special Topics - Advanced Injury Prevention and Care

Restrictions:

Restricted to students enrolled in the Bachelor of Physical and Health Education program.

Hours:

Three hours of lecture per week for one term.

Description:

Students develop the knowledge to recognize, initially assess, care for and rehabilitate common injuries occurring in sports. Practical skills and methods of assessment and adhesive strapping are emphasized in the seminar sessions and are applied in the practicum as a varsity team student trainer.
