Description:
This course provides an introduction to MATLAB, MAPLE or other math computation software. Topics include: problem-solving techniques in several domains of mathematics - calculus, algebra, differential equations, and statistics; symbolic mathematics problem solving; applications to artificial intelligence and image and voice processing; analysis and simulation of dynamic linear and nonlinear systems; and several other practical applications. This course may be credited towards Mathematics.
