Students explore the following topics: methods of data analysis and data presentation; sampling distributions; law of large numbers; central limit theorem; point estimation and properties of estimators; parameter estimation; maximum likelihood and moment matching; interval estimation; hypothesis testing; likelihood ratio tests; goodness-of-fit tests; linear regression.
