Description:
This senior seminar course examines spatial changes to the new geo-economy. The goal will be for students to comprehend the influencing 'agents' of change as well as the economic, social, political, and cultural impacts. The role of international factors, culture, institutions, industrial structure, education, and policy in promoting innovation and growth will be explored. Winners and losers in the new geo-economy are also identified.
