Description:

Students apply and expand fundamental principles and concepts of biomechanics to clinical and rehabilitation contexts, with a focus on mechanics related to injury and pathological conditions. Topics may include mechanisms of injury; the mechanics of balance and gait in the absence and presence of injury and/or pathology; and methods of clinical biomechanical assessment. Students gain practical experience in clinical biomechanical analysis techniques.
