Description:

Students consider the dynamic among peacemaking, peacebuilding, and peacekeeping in the context of international peace and security. Students explore both successful and failed international peace operations. Students examine the role of the United Nations, Canada’s changing relationship to peace operations, as well as the topic of women as peace mediators.
