Description:

Through an intersectional analysis of privilege and oppression, students explore the social, cultural, political, and economic dimensions of HIV/AIDS. Students examine the policy, health and governance challenges that have arisen as a result of the modes of transmission as well as the activities of the populations most at risk. This course may be credited towards Social Welfare and Social Development.
