Any 18 credits completed.

RLCT 3105 if taken in 2007-2008 or Spring 2008

Three hours of lecture per week for one term.

Description:

This course will examine the role of religion in shaping attitudes towards the environment. Some of the guiding questions for the course will be: how is religious belief connected to ideas about the natural world? Does religion have a vital role to play in solving the environmental crisis? Are attitudes towards women and nature linked? Are there links between environmentalism and social justice?
