Description:

Evolutionary processes operate at several scales and help explain biodiversity, speciation, development, physiology, sex, death, the ongoing arms race between pathogens and their hosts, and the apparent ""fit"" between organisms and their environment. The course builds on your understanding of ecology and genetics, and shows how several lines of evidence converge to help us understand and appreciate the diversity of life.
