Description:
Students develop skills in analyzing, interpreting, and communicating results from survey data and large data sets. Students train for entry-level positions in careers that involve managing and analyzing quantitative data by statistical software (e.g., SPSS and Stata), or to pursue a graduate degree. Specific topics include multivariate linear and logistic regression analysis, path analysis, factor analysis, analysis of variance, and event-history analysis.
