Description:

Students study the application of chemistry in the context of human medicine. Topics such as structural and chemical properties of drugs, drug targets, mechanism of drug action, historical perspectives of drug discovery process, basic concepts of modern drug design and discovery process, structure activity and relationships, drug metabolism are covered.
