CHEM 2506  Chemistry of Pollution

Students learn about various anthropogenic activities that lead to the generation of wastes that, unless properly contained or treated, pollute the natural environment. The chemistry behind the treatment of these wastes is examined, as well as the analytical methods that are used for the assessment of hazards in the environment.
