Description:
Teacher candidates will build on their theoretical understanding to design, implement and assess programs and/or practices. Curriculum expectations, methodology, essential elements and resources for Junior and Senior Kindergarten programs will be examined from an integrated studies perspective with a hands-on, real-life application approach to learning. Teacher candidates will also apply teaching practices that reflect the Ethical Standards for the Teaching Profession and the Standards of Practice for the Teaching Profession as the foundation for teacher professionalism within the Kindergarten, Part II course.
