Description:

Expanding upon the grammatical structures and patterns established in Ojibwe I, students apply these concepts to a new verb (VAI) to acquire an understanding of Anishinaabemowin through the lens of local dialects (e.g., Nipissing First Nation). Students utilize the Fierro system as the preferred Ojibwe orthography for our reading (e.g., stories), writing (e.g., translations), and oral speaking practices (e.g., immersion drills).
