BSc Honours Specialization - General Physics III: Electromagnetism

PHYS 2006  General Physics III: Electromagnetism


MATH 1037 and PHYS 1007. It is strongly recommended that MATH 2036 be taken simultaneously.


Three hours of lecture and three hours of laboratory work per week for one term.




This course covers the concepts and physical laws of electricity and magnetism, and applications of electromagnetic theory in modern science and technology. It covers: electrostatics, direct current, static magnetism, electromagnetic induction, and electromagnetic waves.
