Description:

Teacher candidates explore cultural and social aspects of Indigenous education in Canada. Candidates critically examine and demonstrate understandings of the legal and historical connections between culture and education. Teacher candidates explore ways to understand, support and engage Indigenous students in the classroom through the examination and application of Indigenous holistic models of education and pedagogies.
