Description:

This course will investigate the politics of resistance to colonization within the Canadian context. Using contemporary as well as historical case studies, this course examines strategies of anti-colonial resistance and the possibility of alliance-building. Topics will include sovereignty, representation, responsibility and action. This course may be credited towards Indigenous Studies and Political Science.
