Available to students in an Honours Specialization or Specialization in Child and Family Studies or Psychology.


Program Requirements:

Students must complete the following 30 credits:

PSYC 1106 Introduction to Psychology I 3 cr.
PSYC 1107 Introduction to Psychology II 3 cr.
CHFS 2026 or
PSYC 2026
Methods in Behavioural and Social Sciences 3 cr.
CHFS 3035 Statistics in Behavioural and Social Sciences 6 cr.
CHFS 3036 or
PSYC 3036
Ethics and Professional Standards 3 cr.
CHFS 4016 or
PSYC 4016
Program Evaluation and Outcomes Management 3 cr.
CHFS 4017 or
PSYC 4017
Practicum: Applied Research and Evaluation 3 cr.
*CHFS 4505 Senior Research Thesis or 6 cr.
*PSYC 4105 Senior Empirical Thesis  
*Thesis must have an Applied Research/Program Evaluation focus.

Note:

The PEAR certificate will be awarded at the time of graduation.
