NSGD 2216 NSGD 2147, and NSGD 2256 with a minimum grade of 60%; ACAD 1601, BIOL 1011

NSGD 2016, NSGD 2116, NSGD 2117

This course is restricted to students enrolled in the RPN to BScN Blended Learning Program.

Description:

Students holistically and critically examine the influence of factors, such as biological, psychological, social, cultural and political, on living with chronic, progressive chronic, and palliative health challenges in the Canadian context. Students explore evidence-informed, strength-based approaches and interventions in providing nursing care for persons and their families experiencing health challenges.
