SWRK 3505, SWRK 3216, SWRK 3406, SWRK 3305, SWRK 3506, SWRK 3806, SWRK 3316 and SWRK 3106

Restrictions:

Available to students in the 4th year BSW program only.

Hours:

Three hours per week for one term.

Description:

Students examine the theoretical, policy and practice context for social work with young people. Forms of direct and developmental practice are considered alongside the skill set for effective partnership working. Insights in areas such as young people’s social welfare, gender and identity, culture and media, criminal justice and mental health are explored.
