Three hours of lecture and three hours lab per week

Description:

Students study microbiology including the morphology, structure, classification, nutrition and growth of microbes and basic immunology. Students conduct a survey of infectious diseases, examine environmental effects on microbes, study mutation and genetic recombination, and analyze antimicrobial chemotherapeutic agents. Students explore and integrate both the theoretical and applied aspects of microbiology.
