Description:

Students enter the field of social work to apply theories and concepts learned in the classroom to a practice setting under the supervision of a qualified field instructor. Topics include exploring the professional role of social workers; learning to engage in self-reflection; demonstrating knowledge of various intervention strategies with individuals, groups, families, and communities; assessing the impact of broader systems on client groups; and articulating the implications of policy on the lives of clients.
